KommuAssist is a driver assistance system that leverages the open-source driving agent **bukapilot**, built upon **openpilot**. It provides Level 2 autonomous driving functionalities, including longitudinal and lateral driver assistance. The system is specifically trained on Malaysian road data to ensure a smoother and safer driving experience tailored to local conditions.
How to Use Kommu
- Lane Keep Control: Actively controls steering to keep the vehicle centered in the lane.
- Adaptive Cruise Control: Maintains a following distance from the lead car or cruises at a set speed.
- Stop and Go: Holds brakes at standstill traffic and auto-departs when the lead car moves.
